County Chic has a wonderful ambience with original stone flagged floors, great fireplaces and stained glass windows all creating a fabulous backdrop for the array of lovely things available to buy.

Many of the goods are displayed on French and Swedish style painted furniture which is also for sale. Lots of the items are hand made such as the gorgeous rosebud and lavender hearts and garlands which look so pretty just hanging on a handle or wall, as do the hand made embroidered wall hangings.

In May 2004 Sarah opened the first floor to enable her to display the beautiful bedspreads and other soft furnishings, all wonderfully set off by the stunning French Bordeaux style bed which gives the room a romantic air. The lovely country style kitchen here is ideal to show off all the coloured enamelware that is so popular again now and many other kitchen accessories.

Country Chic also has a small range of paints, wallpapers and fabrics and Sarah also offers an interior design service
